Obama's Speech 11/3/10

Obama was being a middle of the road wimp in this address. (Of course I seriously believe Hillary would not have been so weak, but I'm not going to get into how the Democrats were so stupid and threw her under the bus . . oh guess I just did get into it. More later.)

I am admitting that I'm an arm chair President, however, I would be mouthing off and telling it like it really is:

Why are we in debt? The decision TEN years ago to invade Iraq and the greed for oil. EIGHT years of spending everything we had plus borrowing more money from China than we could ever repay.

Why do we have such high unemployment? TEN years ago we starting sending jobs to China and Mexico.

Oh, and by the way, TEN years ago we STARTED with our economy in the BLACK. (Thank you Clinton.)

And the health care bill? OK Mr. Obama, why not address all the truths about it and point out all the lies. Do it on TV. Do it on radio. Do it in print. Get the truth out there. Kill the lies. Have YOUR people flood the Internet with the truth. Counter the thousands and thousands of Tea Party, American Family Association, talk show blow-hearts, and the blinded by hate right-wing fanatics that are flooding the Internet with lies. ADDRESS THESE LIES. ADDRESS everything. Don't just sit up there and expect your speeches to work. It worked (somehow???? . . . for most people, I suppose) for campaigning, but it is time to put actions were your mouth was.

This is why I was a Hillary supporter. I always said Obama was weak. He even admitted in one of the debates that he would be a LEADER and have good people around him that would be able to carry out the decisions. In the same debate, Hillary countered that by saying SHE would be the one taking the action, being in charge and doing it herself.

He better step up and get mad. Grow some balls and stop making excuses. The best defense is a good offense. DON'T give the American people the benefit of the doubt! Most of them are narrow minded followers that haven't a clue where to find their own butts.

I still have the Hillary for President sticker on my car. Maybe it is time to add one saying "I told you so".

If this backlash continues, and the American, heads up their asses, people actually VOTE IN, who the fuck is this idiot, Palin as President, I AM moving to Great Britain, Ireland or France. Getting as far away from this, going to hell, country as I can.

I have a friend that started the process of becoming a Canadian citizen as soon as Bush was elected. Yes, she is now a Canadian citizen. She and her dog are now happily living there.

Law Degree Not Needed

Recently someone sent me yet another "forward" email with all the same old false rhetoric about ObamaCare.

This falling on the eve of the elections, naturally.

I, as always, replied with the REAL facts, just the facts ma'am.

Then, after the elections my "vote straight Republican" hate everything Obama, or Democrat, Texas friend sent me another email that read as follows:

"Glad to see you have your law degree and have completely read all of Obamacare. I have not, so I rely on others to explain it to me. Thanks. Glad to see the Republicans took over the house and Nancy Pigosi is out !!! She was a nut case !!!"

My response? Of course I just had to put it here on my blog:

Ha ha ha . . Law degree . . Did date a lawyer for 7 years. Long enough not to trust them.

I just read a lot, listen to a lot of speeches, and watch shows like Meet the Press, etc, that has representatives from all sides.

I also look into things and study wanting to know the facts, not just read things someone writes (those with hate agendas) and posts on the Internet. I would never send information, and certainly NEVER believe all information sent, that I did not check out first. Don't need a law degree to read, watch, and listen.

Also, I am not a Democrat or a Republican. Never vote straight party. That would be extremely narrow minded and counter productive. Also that would be lazy and wouldn't require learning facts and finding information. Blind trust is just not my thing. To believe one party has all the answers is absurd.

There are good ideas on both sides. No one has all the answers.

It would be nice if everyone would look at individuals, respect individuals (and individual rights) and not simply blindly follow just one side.

Seems like there is way too much hate going around. Way too much false information . . . and down right lies, in order to justify and continue this hate.

Some of my Republican candidates that I voted for won. Some of my Republican candidates I voted for did not. Some of my Democratic candidates I voted for won and some did not.

Bottom line, as I said, I want individual rights, keep an open mind to differences in opinion, and have respect for others instead of following falsehoods born from hateful agendas.

You know that old saying: "You can't please all the people all the time." . . . Well, it actually seems more like: "You can't please any of the people any of the time."
