Chicago Cubs introduce Theo Epstein as president of baseball operations

As I watched this on the news this morning, and they talked about how Chicago has the money to now spend on hiring not only this man but also willing to spend a lot more in order to get good players, I could not help but think about my friend who was a substitute teacher in Chicago inner schools who told me that in many of the places she taught the students didn't even have books. All their lessons were written on the board. The students had to copy it all from a black board.

Here is yet another example of ass backward priorities and why people are marching in the streets.
